Graduation and Awards Ceremony

The Office of Intercultural Programs is proudly sponsoring the annual Fall Graduation and Awards Program.  This will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 4:00 pm in the University Union, Multipurpose Room.  

This program is designed to recognize and reward outstanding students of color and those of other underrepresented groups for their academic achievement and service.  This program will also recognize faculty, staff and administration for their continued support of Office of Intercultural Programs and commitment to issues of diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice.

We are asking for your support in selecting individuals who are most deserving of recognition in several categories.  We encourage all student, faculty, staff and administrators to make nominations.  Nominate as many individuals as you wish.  A nomination form must be submitted for each nominee per award.  Nominees must be current SRU students, faculty, staff, and administration.  All nominations are due by Friday, April 18, 2008 in the Office of Intercultural Programs.  These awards will be presented at the Spring Graduation & Awards Program.  To see a list of the categories and for a nomination packet, please click here: 2008 Award Nomination Packet
