Slippery Rock University offers a quality education at an affordable cost for both in-state and non-resident students.  Below is the cost break-down for the 2007-2008 school year.

*  In order to qualify for the Non-Resident Tuition Reduction Program (Click here for printable .PDF), undergraduate students must meet the following conditions: 

  • Successfully apply for admission as a new freshmen or transfer student
  • New Freshmen must have a cumulative GPA or 3.0 of better on a 4.0 scale (or a weighted 4.0 scale), or a cumulative average of "B" or better if another grading system is used, on their final, official transcripts (final high school transcripts certifying graduation for new freshmen).
  • Transfer students must have a cumulative transfer GPA from all post-secondary work of 3.0 or better as determined by the Slippery Rock University Office of Admissions.
  • Enroll as full-time students and successfully maintain full-time enrollment progress.

Students are eligible to retain this discount at Slippery Rock as undergraduates provided they maintain full-time enrollment, a 3.0 or better cumulative quality point average at the University, and make satisfactory progress toward graduation.

**Room charges can vary substantially based on whether a student is living in the traditional residence halls or the new residential suites. Please visit the Residence Life web for further details about residence hall accommodations.
