How are you using assessment to improve student learning?

Assessment is the process through which effective learning is planned and measured by relating degree program goals to actual student performance. We do assessment to improve student learning. The Assessment Core Workforce of Slippery Rock University has been working since 1998 to help the university community develop effective assessment processes. This web site reflects the collective efforts of both academic and student life programs to articulate student-learning outcomes and to devise appropriate and effective means of measuring student achievement.

As always, the Assessment Workforce stands ready to help your department or office develop or improve your assessment processes. Please contact myself, or any member of the Assessment Workforce, with your assessment questions or needs. We look forward to working with you.
