Good health is an integral part of your Slippery Rock University experience. Because Slippery Rock University recognizes this and has a desire to safeguard your health, the University sponsors a Student Health Insurance program.

Benefit & enrollment information can be obtained online at www.chpstudent.com, or at the Student Health Center. The plan offers limited, basic accident and illness coverage; and is designed to compliment services available at the Student Health Center.

Careful consideration of the student health plan would be beneficial to a student in the following situations:

• No longer eligible for benefits under their parents plan
• Current health plan is restricted to home area only (HMO)
• Students who currently do not have health insurance.
