How To Interpret Degree Audit Reports (DARS)

This guide is designed to aid the interpretation of your DARS report. DARS provides you and your advisor with information on the new Liberal Studies program and your major/degree requirements. Please read this guide carefully and direct your questions to the Office of Academic Records and Summer School or your academic advisor.
DARS will take your liberal studies and major requirements and break them into requirement sets. Within each requirement set there is a set of sub-requirements. If you glance at your degree audit, you will note there will be an "OK" or "NO"to the left of each requirement and a "+" or "-" by each sub-requirement. If a sub-requirement has not been met (-), the requirement will read "NO." Therefore, before you can graduate, each requirement on your report must say "OK." In cases where requirements are not met, DARS will tell you what must be done to complete your graduation requirements.
