MISSION STATEMENT

As part of the Finance and Administrative Affairs Division, the Office of Human Resources will provide necessary support services to assist in accomplishing the educational mission of the university.  The Human Resources Office will contribute to the diverse working and learning environment by providing opportunities for development and encouraging commitment to the university's values and goals.

The Human Resources Office will provide expertise and leadership in:  staff employment, benefits administration, classification and compensation, training and development, employee services, personnel and payroll transaction processing, employee and labor relations and policy development.  In the performance of these activities and services, Human Resources commits to providing continuous quality service in an environment which fosters trust, mutual respect, sensitivity and diversity.
