Whether you are a participant or a fan, you'll find plenty to keep you busy outside of class at Slippery Rock University.

The Intercollegiate Athletic Department provides excellent opportunties and facilities to support a competitive intercollegiate experience at the NCAA Division II level.

SRU fields 17 athletic teams, 7 for men and 10 for women, and plays in the highly-competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. SRU is fully Title IX compliant.

Recreation, Intramurals and Club Sports

The University's comprehensive Aebersold Student Recreation Center, funded by student fees, will provide you with an adundant array of recreational, intramural and fitness experiences from Aerobics to Zumba. The ARC, as we affectionately know it, also sponsors several competitive club sports teams and outdoor adventures.
