Marmon/Keystone promotes SRU graduate
Barry Glaser, a 1974 Slippery Rock University economics graduate, has been promoted from district manager to regional vice president western region at Marmon/Keystone.
In his new post, he will be responsible for the Los Angeles, Fresno, Sacramento, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City and Tulsa branches.
Glaser began his Marmon/Keystone career in 1984 in outside sales, then progressed to the positions of marketing manager-fluid power products, marketing manager-mechanical tube and then branch manager.
He makes his home in Upland, Calif.
The Butler-based distributor of pipes, tubing and specialty bars in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, has 30 locations in North America, Mexico and Europe and more than 1,200 employees. The company, owned by The Marmon Group, is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
