Rock men’s cross country teams earns All-Academic honors
NEW ORLEANS – The Slippery Rock University men's cross country team has been named as one of 80 NCAA Division II teams to earn All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
To be eligible for All-Academic team honors, all members of the active roster must post a collective cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above and the team must register a score at its respective NCAA Regional Championship.
The Slippery Rock men's team was one of seven Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference programs to earn the All-Academic honor last fall. The PSAC had the second highest total of institutions on the list.
Slippery Rock placed fifth as a team at both the PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships last fall.
