SRU graduate becomes assistant principal at Riverside High
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Brian Churovia, a Slippery Rock University bachelors and master’s degree graduate, has been named Riverside High School assistant principal by the district’s board of education in Beaver Falls.
Churovia earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education in 1995 and his master’s degree in secondary guidance and counseling in 2002.
He has served as a high school guidance counselor in Beaver Falls for the last nine years, according to the Beaver County Times.
Prior to working in Beaver Falls, Churovia taught health and physical education for two years at Keystone Oaks High School and four years at Beaver Area High School.
He earned his principal's certificate from California University of Pennsylvania.
