SRU volleyball’s ‘Dig for the Cure’ raises $900

The Slippery Rock University’s volleyball team seventh annual "Dig for the Cure" garnered $900 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation in its Oct. 16 match against Emory University.

The game was hosted at SRU during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Figures were released this week.

The team’s seven-year total is $20,927.

Laureen Lokash and Erin Street coach the team.
