SRU business honorary earns honors
Twenty Slippery Rock University students from Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business honorary, recently attended the Principled Business Leader’s Institute in Philadelphia where SRU’s Iota Upsilon chapter was recognized as the Eastern Region Chapter that most “exceeded their annual goals and for shaping people, shaping business.”
The chapter received a plaque and $250.
The eastern region includes Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Drexel, Gannon, Marshall, Penn State, SUNY (Buffalo and Geneseo), Syracuse, Temple and Lock Haven universities, and the universities of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh and Rochester.
Bruce Orvis, associate professor in SRU’s School of Business, is the chapter adviser.
John Golden and Rhonda Clark, both instructors in the School of Business, accompanied the group.
