Women’s ice hockey club team makes national playoffs

The women’s ice hockey club team at Slippery Rock University has earned a No. 2 ranking in the East giving it the first-ever opportunity to attend the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Championship in Wooster, Ohio.

 

The championship games will be played March 10-12 at the Alice Noble Ice Arena.

 

The women’s club team finished its regular season ranked second in the league after tying No. 1 ranked University of Delaware and twice battling No. 3 California University of Pennsylvania, including a win, which was the first ever for SRU.
