Fulbeck questions ‘What are You?’


SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Kip Fulbeck, artist, spoken word performer, filmmaker and professor of art at the University of California, will offer a 6 p.m., April 4 lecture in the University Union.

Fulbeck’s address is rescheduled from SRU’s Diversity and Inclusion Series.

The lecture is titled “What are You? The Changing Faces of America.”

            Fulbeck, who has received UC’s Distinguished Teaching Award four times, was named a cultural pioneer at Harvard University.

He has exhibited in more than 20 countries and has been featured on CNN, MTV, and PBS.

He lectures nationwide on identity, multi-raciality and diversity using a unique monologues and multimedia shows that combine comedy with a politically charged edge, leading audiences to honestly consider “Who Am I?”
