SRU hosts VIP Sports Clinic

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -Twenty-five blind and visually impaired children, ages 4 to 18, will visit the Slippery Rock University campus Saturday to participate in an Adapted Physical Activity Sports Clinic.

The 10:30 a.m. clinic, sponsored by SRU's department of physical education department's adapted physical activity program, is open to those with sight problems and will offer dance, beep baseball, track and field, judo, goalball and horseback riding.

The program will be in the Pearl K. Stoner Instructional Complex, East Gym, West Gym, Storm Harbor Equestrian Center and Old Thompson Field.

SRU adapted physical activity graduate students will conduct the clinic.
