Sport management graduate handles sales at Phoenix raceway
PHOENIX, Ariz. — William “Chris” Reaves, a 2008 Slippery Rock University sport management graduate, has been named corporate sales manager at Phoenix International Raceway.
In his new post, he will focus on a variety of business development initiatives, including sponsorship sales, ticketing, suites and related hospitality areas.
He formerly served four years with the Phoenix Coyotes where he was group sales account executive, responsible for group sales of suites and hospitality areas.
Reaves is a Louisville, Ky., native.
Phoenix International Raceway has served race fans as the premier motorsports venue in the southwest since 1964. The semi-final race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup chase will be hosted at PIR Nov. 11.
