Dancers plan 'Last Fifteen Minutes' show

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Slippery Rock University dance department will present a variety of choreography created by senior dance majors at its "Our Last Fifteen Minutes" concert at 2 and 5 p.m., May 3. The concert is in Swope Music Hall.

The choreography of Nora Ambrosio, SRU professor of dance, will be presented. Titled, "With You," the dance was created for the senior students.

"The dancers asked me to create a dance for them that featured jazz dance, and I was happy to oblige. I have had so much fun choreographing this dance for this talented group of students." Ambrosio said.

There are 20 students involved in the production. They are: Nicole Altiere of Levittown;

Cassandra Balawender, Kent, Ohio; Caitlin Brosnahan, Gahanna, Ohio; Rebecca Burcher, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Jessica Clevenger, Saint Thomas, Pa.: Shelley Collock, East Haddam, Conn.; Johnna Cwik and Sonja Gable, both of Johnstown; Elanore Ferrara, Penfield, N.Y.; Alexa Gutzweiler , Easton; Emily Kurtik, Lower Burrell; Carrie Langguth, Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio;

Alyssa McIntyre, Glenmoore; Lauren McKee, Big Run; Nicole Monville, Smoketown; Taylor Pearson, Seven Valleys; Tara Schlosser, Mount Airy, Md.; Taylor Szalajda and Rachel Wesling, Pittsburgh; and Alexa Wiegel, Canonsburg.
