Graduate leads Pittsburgh Diocese education/evangelization

Robert Paserba, a 1964 Slippery Rock University elementary education graduate, has been named secretary for Catholic education and evangelization in the Pittsburgh Diocese by Bishop David Zubik

“For the last 18 years Dr. Paserba has aptly brought his many skills to play in his role as superintendent of Catholic schools...Dr. Paserba’s long love for the church, coupled with his exceptional gifts and talents, provide for a very smooth transition in the diocesan Secretariat for Catholic Education and Evangelization,” Zubik wrote.

A new superintendent of Catholic schools will be named this summer.

The appointment was made public in the Pittsburgh Catholic as part of a series of changes and reorganization in diocesan central administration announced in a letter by the bishop.
