Nicole Bezila becomes director of pupil services

Nicole Bezila, a 2003 and 2007 Slippery Rock University graduate, has been named director of pupil services for the North Hills School District.

Bezila will supervise the special education program, guidance department, nursing staff, gifted education, English as a second language and school safety initiatives.

She received her bachelor’s degrees in special education and elementary education from SRU followed by a master’s degree in education.

Before joining the North Hills district, Bezila served as director of special education and coordinator of special services for the Slippery Rock Area School District and has previously served as a secondary learning support teacher in the Ellwood City Area School District.
