SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. –Slippery Rock University’s Government Contracting Assistance Center will host a Veteran-owned Business Seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Aug. 15, at the Veterans Administration Butler Healthcare facility in Butler.
The free seminar will provide contracting information and networking opportunities to veteran-owned businesses. The primary focus will be on doing business with government agencies and prime contractors.
The seminar will include presentations by representatives from various government agencies and prime contractors followed by a networking session.
Participants will include dck worldwide LLC, Highmark Health Services, URS Energy and Construction Inc., the Veterans Administration Butler Healthcare, General Manufacturing, 84 Lumber Co., SimplexGrinnell, Mascaro Construction Co., National Energy Technology Laboratory, University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Veteran's Chamber of Commerce.
