SANDY LAKE, Pa. - The 10th annual Nature Art Show sponsored by the McKeever Environmental Learning Center will again offer regional nature artists the chance to display and sell their works Sept. 28-30.
The free show, offered in the center's various buildings, is easily walkable.
"What makes this event unique is that each artist is given a room to display their works. The artist then fills the space with works of art that reflect the wonders and beauty of nature creating their own 'art gallery,'" said Fran Bires, center director.
Artists will include: Jocelyn Beatty, Chandler Beatty, Larry Beckstein, Jim Bortz, Tom Darby, Jack Paluh and Ben Bires.
Julie Harris, a classically training singer and guitarist, will provide live entertainment in the dining hall from 6-9 p.m., opening day.
Show hours are 6-9 p.m., opening day; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sept. 29; and noon to 4 p.m., Sept. 30.
Driving directions are available from: http://www.mckeever.org.
