Robyn Fette, a 2000 Slippery Rock University elementary education graduate and now an assistant principal at Hubbard [Ohio] Elementary School, has been named the first recipient of a new section award presented by the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators.
“Robyn exemplifies the best in school leadership,” the OAESA said in making the award announcement. Fette has been assistant principal at the school since 2006.
The OAESA is the professional association serving Ohio's elementary- and middle-level school administrators, as well as central office administrators who have an interest in pre-K through grade eight education.
Included in its mission is to bring about a more complete understanding of the objectives of elementary and middle level school administrators; to work for the continuous improvement of Ohio's elementary and middle level schools, to promote professional growth, status, and welfare of elementary and middle level administrators, and to cooperate with organizations who share mutual interests in promoting the cause of quality education and services.
The honor will be presented at the OAESA’s Professional Conference Awards Luncheon.
