SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has named Slippery Rock University a 2013 Top Workplace.
The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback.
The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
While we are undergoing some important transitions, we still know our faculty and staff are wholly dedicated. They show their dedication daily, not only by showing up for work, but arriving ready to take on any challenge we face," said Cheryl Norton, SRU president. "We appreciate the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for including us on their list, but we did not need a survey to know this a great place to work. Those of us on campus see and work with the friendly and helpful people who make up the Slippery Rock University family."
"I want to thank everyone for their contributions and ask for their continued help in making the coming years, especially our 125th year in 2014, the best that they can be," she said. The Post-Gazette published the complete list of Top Workplaces in its Sept. 26 edition.
