SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University students in Brian Crow's "Sport Management Facilities and Event Management" class learn by doing, and this semester they are organizing the fourth annual Rocktober Open at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course in Hermitage.

Entrance fees for the four-person scramble includes greens fees, golf cart, lunch and dinner. Cost is $70 per person; $62 for SRU students. Online reservations are requested by Oct. 11, but day-of-event players will be accepted at the golf course.
