SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Two Slippery Rock University dancers will explain and demonstrate classical Indian dance during their Dance in India presentation at 7 p.m., Oct. 30, in SRU's West Gym Dance Studio.
Caitlin Brosnahan, a dance major from Gahanna, Ohio, and Chalice Streitman, an exercise science major from Butler, will talk about their summer study program in India, which is offered by SRU through the dance department.
Students will present "Adi Kondar" and "Gambheera Vani," choreography by Revathi Ramachandran.
Jaya Mani, SRU instructor of dance, will deliver remarks. She coordinates SRU's Dance in India program. The program provides students the opportunity to study in India.
Donations will be accepted.
