LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team landed four players on the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference All-Conference squad announced this week.
Named to the first team were: Chris Davis, a forward from Blacklick, Ohio; Drew Donoghue, a defender from Butler; and Joshua Gray, a defender from Norwich, England. Clayton Master, a goalkeeper from Harrisburg, earned second-team honors.
The four are the most SRU players named since five players made the All-PSAC team following the 2009 season. The four are the largest number of players named since the league went to a single division format in 2010.
The Rock finished the season with an 11-4-6 record and advanced to the PSAC Championship Game, where they lost to Mercyhurst 1-0. The six ties were the most in school history in a single season.
Michael Bonelli is the team’s head coach.
