SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University will host a "Rundown on the 2012 Election" at 4 p.m., Nov. 19, in 104 Spotts World Culture Building.
"This post-election roundtable discussion on the recent presidential election is intended to foster a deeper understanding of whether or not this election was really all that different from elections in the past," said Sharon Sykora, associate professor of political science and program organizer.
The free session will include time for questions and conversation, she said.
In addition to Sykora, SRU panelists will include William Bergman, assistant professor of history; George Brown, professor of political science; Colleen Cooke, associate professor of parks and recreation; Aaron Cowan, assistant professor of history; John Craig, professor of history; Heather Rice, instructor of political science; and Laurel Dagnon, director of programming for SRU's Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.
