Rock lands 4 on Daktronics All-Region team

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. –Slippery Rock University led all schools in the Atlantic Region with four selections to the Daktronics men's soccer All-Region team.

The Rock is represented on the first team by defender Joshua Gray, a physical education major from Norwich, England, and on the second team by goalkeeper Clayton Master, a resort management and tourism major from Harrisburg, forward Chris Davis, an undeclared major from Blacklick, Ohio, and defender Drew Donoghue, a political science major from of Butler.

All four of The Rock’s All-Region selections were also named to All-Conference honors in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Gray will advance to the All-America ballot as a member of the first team.

The Daktronics All-Region team is nominated for and voted on by the sports information directors of soccer playing institutions in the region. Mercyhurst and Davis & Elkins matched SRU with four selections on the All-Region team. The three schools combined to fill 12 of the 26 spots on the squad.
