SRU adds four to Advancement Division


SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University family increased by four in recent weeks by vacancies filled in University Advancement and the SRU Foundation Inc.

            New to the foundation is:

● Meagan Gribbin, an SRU communication graduate, who was named director of the SRU Annual Fund. She earned her master’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.

Gribbin formerly served as manager and account executive for Texas Student Media in Austin.

Joining University Advancement are:

● David Sabolcik, an SRU sport management graduate, who has been named director of alumni engagement.

In addition to his SRU degree, Sabolcik earned his master of arts degree in communication management from John Carroll University. He most recently served as assistant athletic director of development and executive director/director of annual giving for the University of New Mexico Lobo Club. He begins his duties July 1.

● Brad May, a Youngstown State University bachelor of fine arts graduate, has been named director of advancement services. He begins work at SRU June 13.

May most recently served as research manager for Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has served as a database specialist at Thiel College.

            ● Nicholas McIntire, an SRU information technology graduate, has been named constituent services and database assurance manager.

He formerly served as a technical business analyst and on the relationship management team for HM Insurance in Pittsburgh.
