SRU’s Government Contracting Assistance Center hosts seminar
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University's Government Contracting Assistance Center and California University of Pennsylvania's Government Agency Coordination Office will host a free “Construction Contracting” seminar at 9 a.m., Feb. 18, at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township.
The seminar will provide construction contractors with information about important elements necessary in preparing successful bids to the government.
Presenters from Mascaro Construction Co. will discuss the basics of estimating and how to bid to a named prime contractor.
Representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor will address compliance with EEOC regulations and prevailing wage requirements.
