Grove City School Board elects SRU’s Susan Herman president

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Susan Herman, assistant professor in Slippery Rock University’s department of exercise and rehabilitative sciences, has been elected president of the Grove City School Board of Directors.

 Herman, who joined the SRU faculty in 1980, has served on the school board for the past eight years as vice president, chair of the finance and personnel committees and as the Pennsylvania School Board Association liaison. 

 She is engaged in the Grove City community through her involvement in a variety of service organizations including: Grove City/Franklin Y executive boards, United Way Campaign Leadership Team, Delta Gamma Gamma (educational/service organization) and as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
