SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Sarah Lipner, a senior music education major at Slippery Rock University, was elected as the 2003-2004 state president of the Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association at its convention.

As president, the Pittsburgh native will oversee 36 colleges/universities in Pennsylvania, attend Pennsylvania Music Educators Association state board meetings, various conferences and write for the organization’s publications.

“My position as president of PCMEA is giving me a chance to reach out and spread my love of music to my fellow peers all over the state,” says Lipner.
