WOMEN IN
LEADERSHIP SPEAKER SERIES BEGUN BY SRU
SLIPPERY
ROCK, Pa. -- A new Women In Leadership Speaker Series, sponsored by
Slippery Rock University’s Women’s Leadership
Initiative and SPRINT, will bring women business leaders to campus
to share professional development advice with university students
and the general public.
The
series will begin Thursday, November 6 with the Rock Women in
Business Roundtable, which will feature SRU graduates who are now
business leaders in western Pennsylvania. It will take place from
12:30 to 1:30 and will be moderated by retired attorney Jan
Sargert, ’62.

Leadership Skills will be the topic for Dr. Joanne Sujansky, CEO of
KEYGroup, a Pittsburgh-based consulting and training services
company she founded in 1980. Also a graduate of SRU, Dr.
Sujansky consults nationally and internationally to industry,
government, health care, business and education organizations. Her
firm offers customized training in leadership, managing change and
influencing skills. Her presentation on December 2 from 12:30
– 1:30 p.m. will be open to the public with no
charge.
Both sessions will be held in the newly
renovated auditorium in the Eisenberg Classroom Building on the SRU
campus.

Women’s Leadership Initiative and organized this
series,” said Dr. Robert Smith, SRU Interim President.
“I am certain that this speaker series will be highly valued
by our students and by area professionals.”
