SRU MARCHING BAND TO PLAY HALFTIME GAME
SELECTIONS AT STADIUM ECHOES CONCERT
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.
– Highlights of this year’s football game halftime
shows will be presented when the Slippery Rock University Marching
Band, under the direction of James Berry, assistant professor of
music, presents its annual “Stadium Echoes Concert” at
4 p.m. Nov. 12.
The concert will be
presented in Morrow Field House. Tickets are $3 at the door (free
for SRU students).
The annual concert
will include the SRU Alma Mater and fight song as well as stadium
crowd pleasers “Rocky,” “Let’s Go
Rock” and “We Will Rock You.”
Also scheduled are
the theme from “James Bond,” along with “Big
Noise from Winnetka,” “Incantation,” “Stars
and Stripes Forever,” “Bumble Bee Tuna,”
“Dr. Who,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,”
“Monty Python,” “Brick House,” “Donne
Iris,” “Imperial March” and
“Superman,” among others.
