Harrisburg - Following an 11-month nationwide search, the Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education's Board of Governors has selected Dr. Robert M. Smith to serve as the next president of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Smith has served as Slippery Rock's interim president since December 2002.
