SRU President Tells Trustees Applications for Enrollment Increasing

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Slippery Rock University President Robert M. Smith told the university's council of trustees applications for enrollment are up 38 percent from last year and the acceptance rate is approximately 55 percent compared with 63 percent a year ago, reflecting more rigorous admission standards.

SRU to Award 475 Diplomas at Winter Commencement: Auntie Anne's Founder to Speak

Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne's Inc., franchisor of the world's largest mall-based pretzel franchise, is the commencement speaker.

SRU Student 'Commuted' Online from Texas; Will Get Diploma on Campus

�SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Tracey Santiago, a Slippery Rock University nursing student living and working outside Houston, Texas, will be on campus Saturday [Dec. 17] to receive her diploma even though she has not been on campus since the early 1990s.
