SRU to Again Host Women's Wheelchair Basketball Tourney; Steel City Starz to Play

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - For the second consecutive year, the best women wheelchair basketball players in the United States come to Slippery Rock University�Feb. 24-26 for the 31ST National Women's Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, which for the first time will feature the USA Junior National Team.

University of Florida Scientist to Lecture at SRU on Climate Agriculture

Butler County Bar Association Endows $20,000 Scholarship at SRU

SRU to Offer Seminar Series in Long-Term Care Administration at Wexford

80 SRU Students to Spend Spring Break Offering Community Service Across U.S.

Pittsburgh Symphony Chamber Orchestra to Perform May 3 at SRU

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Symphony Chamber Orchestra, one of the most traveled ensembles in the region, will play three horn and orchestra movements by Mozart, as well as a tango suite for violins and other pieces during an 8 p.m. May 3 concert at Slippery Rock University's Miller Auditorium. Tickets are $10, with discounted rates available for groups of 20 or more.

SRU Students Participating in Online, Worldwide Math Contest

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - During their participation in the worldwide Mathematical Contest on Modeling, three Slippery Rock University math majors calculated the hypothetical number of tollbooths needed for an interstate in New Jersey.
