World dance provides focus for SRU dance concert

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's dance department concludes the semester with two showcase concerts of student works at 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday in Swope Music Hall. The concerts will include international dances.

Civil War buffs to re-enact Christmas at SRU's Old Stone House

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's Old Stone House will host "A Civil War Christmas" re-enactment of what it was like for families during the war. The program will be presented 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 13 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Butler County landmark.
