SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -� �Slippery Rock University is among the 150 colleges and universities named today in The Chronicle of Higher Education's 2009 Great Colleges to Work For survey.

Three SRU dance majors prepare for month's study in India

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. �- �Slippery Rock University dance majors Kacie Peterson of Frederick, Md., Patty Petronello of Arlington, Va., and Tayler Sady of Lilly, are spending their summer preparing for a monthlong experience in India as part of the University's Dance in India program.

Good News: 7/16/09 Trustmark names '90 SRU graduate assistant vice president

Lisa Bovard Fleming, a 1990 Slippery Rock University graduate, has been named assistant vice president for compensation at The Trustmark Companies in Lake Forest, Ill. Trustmark, an insurance holding company, employs 2,500 people nationwide.

SRU again makes Princeton Review's 'Best Northeast Colleges' list

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - A "wonderful business school," notable programs in music and physical therapy, residence halls "like palaces" and "excellent education students" were among the top reasons Slippery Rock University was again named one of the 218 best colleges and universities in the Northeast by The Princeton Review.
