SOCIAL WORK OPEN HOUSE APRIL 27

AT REGIONAL LEARNING ALLIANCE AT CRANBERRY WOODS

     SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- An open house for those interested in a career in social work will be held at the Regional Learning Alliance at Cranberry Woods, from 7 to 8 p.m., April 27.

     Slippery Rock University will be offering a degree program that is tailored to those who are practicing paraprofessionals who seek the addition of a bachelor of science degree. The program can also serve those who have an undergraduate background in psychology, sociology, allied health, communication or education.

     The full 11-course sequence will be offered at the Regional Learning Alliance so that students should be able to complete them in two years even if employed full time.
