SRU offers help to those receiving government contracts
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's Government Contracting Assistance Center will host a free Post-Award Contract Administration Seminar from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Regional Learning Alliance, Cranberry Township.
This seminar will address what businesses need to know after being awarded a federal government contract. A basic understanding of post-award administration, including such key issues as complying with contract terms and conditions, managing contract changes, audits, invoicing and payment will be presented by Barbara Weaver, Procurement Center representative and Commercial Market representative at the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Sherrie Plonski, deputy for Small Business with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
