Good News: WQED names Kovaleski to community board

WQED names Kovaleski to community board
Brad Kovaleski, director of the Slippery Rock University Center for Student Leadership and Involvement and the Institute for Community, Service-Learning and Nonprofit Leadership, has been appointed to the WQED community advisory board.
The board advises the station on community issues, outreach and coverage. Ruth Purcell, SRU director of University Advancement and a WQED community advisory board member for the past five years, nominated Kovaleski.
At SRU, Kovaleski oversees the Compass Leadership and AmeriCorps programs. Kovaleski, an SRU graduate, joined the University in 2007. He received an undergraduate degree in Spanish and a master's degree in college student personnel from SRU.
