LOCAL SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY STUDENT INDUCTED INTO SPECIAL EDUCATION HONORARY

           SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – _________________of ____________, a special education major at Slippery Rock University, has been inducted into the national special education honorary Sigma Pi Epsilon Delta.

          To qualify for induction, students must complete nine or more hours in special education courses and maintain a minimum 3.25 grade-point average. The honorary is service-based. Dr. Donald Stauffer, professor of special education, is the chapter adviser. 

          SRU has more than 2,600 education majors, including 632 concentrating in special education.
