THE SLIPPERY ROCK TOWN AND GOWN ASSOCIATION
REORGANIZES, SCHEDULES AUG. 17 MEETING;
PUBLIC INVITED
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.
--- To further the positive relationship between Slippery Rock
University and community residents, the Slippery Rock Town and Gown

host a meeting at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at North Country Brewing in
Slippery Rock.
Residents, SRU students and staff, elected
officials and business owners are invited to discuss programs and
ways to promote and improve the quality of life in Slippery Rock.
The meeting will be held on the back patio, with refreshments
available.

organization recently appointed Slippery Rock resident Gene Allison

to help move in one of the largest freshman classes in recent
history Aug. 25-26. Residents and local merchants are being
encouraged to participate to promote community
pride.
