 Editor's Advisory: Campus to plant flags for Sept. 11 dead

EDITOR'S ADVISORY:

 

Editor's and photographers looking for a Sept. 11 story/photo should consider that the Slippery Rock University College Republicans will plant 2,977 American flags, one for each person killed Sept. 11, 2001, on the Bailey Library Quad beginning at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday.

            The project is being funded in part by USA Today.

            In addition, "The Star-Spangled Banner" will be played at 12:30 p.m., a prayer will be offered at 12:35 p.m., and participants will leave in silence at 12:45 p.m.
