There are a variety of professional certifications you may obtain upon graduation. We encourage you to research the requirements of these certifications as many of them require the passing of an exam and relevant work experience.

The department offers the following programs:

Corporate Security (BS)

SRU's Bachelor of Science in Corporate Security program prepares students to provide the security an organization needs to protect its people, property, information and economic assets from man-made (crime, terrorism, workplace violence) and natural disasters (fires, floods, storms, etc.). This program has two concentrations: Fraud and Organizational Security Management.

SRU's Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security program prepares students to solve complex security issues affecting the United States by preparing a foundation for identifying threats and assessing/analyzing threats; and securing the economic prosperity and critical infrastructure of our country though creative solutions encompassing both preparedness and resilience.
