The university, and hence the college, is accredited by the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges.

The college has three accredited programs:

	The Computer Science and Information Systems programs are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202, (410)347-7700
	The business administration program is a "Candidate for Accreditation" and is in "candidacy status" with ACBSP (Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs).
	Safety Management is a board approved program by the institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM).

Accredited programs indicate that these departments have earned excellence by providing the highest standards in the discipline based on a rigorous peer review process. Achieving accreditation indicates that these departments have demonstrated excellence in teaching, provide curriculum that demonstrates best practices and that the departments have a continuous improvement process to assure quality.

These associations are recognized as speaking to the quality of the academic programs of the institution.
