School of Business
Business Management; Pre-MBA (non-BSBA)
The Management Pre-MBA minor is one of two minors offered by the School of Business to non-business majors. The objective of the minor is to academically prepare non-business majors for enrollment in an MBA degree program. The Management Pre-MBA minor provides all of the core business competencies required before enrollment in an MBA program. It is strongly encouraged that all recommended courses also be completed. Completion of the minor does not guarantee admittance to all MBA degree programs, however. Many programs also require students to take the GMAT exam. The School of Business does not assign advisors to students completing minors. Advisement questions concerning the required business courses can be directed to the department chairperson or any faculty member teaching in the department. The School of Business values all students taking business courses and will assist them in every way possible to be successful.
