School of Business
An economics minor complements all other majors offered in the school of business. It provides an analytical framework for a wide variety of business decision making. It also serves as an excellent spring-board for graduate and professional study. Students considering a minor in economics should take intermediate theory ( Economics 301 and 302) as juniors and then the two electives as seniors. Students pursuing a minor in economics must maintain a minimum QPA of 2.000 in all business courses taken at Slippery Rock University.
