Economics Minor

An economics minor complements all other majors offered in the school of business. It provides an analytical framework for a wide variety of business decision making. It also serves as an excellent spring-board for graduate and professional study. Students considering a minor in economics should take intermediate theory ( Economics 301 and 302) as juniors and then the two electives as seniors. Students pursuing a minor in economics must maintain a minimum QPA of 2.000 in all business courses taken at Slippery Rock University.

Required BSBA Core Courses - Credits: 24

And Two 300 or 400 Level Economics Courses

Orvis receives President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

Bruce Orvis, associate professor in Slippery Rock University’s School of Business, was honored Saturday as the 2013-14 recipient of the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching as part of the University’s annual Academic Honors Convocation.
