SPOTLIGHT

School of Business
Minor in Business Administration (non-BSBA)

The minor in business administration is one of two minors offered by the School of Business to non-business majors. This minor requires introductory courses in accounting, economics, management and marketing. Students can then tailor the minor broadly by taking electives across the various business disciplines or narrowly by concentrating the electives in one specific discipline. It should be noted that to complete the business administration minor students must take at least 12 credit hours at the 300/400 level. Also, at least 4 credits (in effect two courses) must be from courses that cannot be counted in the students major program of study. The School of Business does not assign advisors to students completing the business administration minor. Advisement question concerning business courses can be directed to the Chairperson of the School of Business or any faculty member teaching in the department. The School of Business values our business administration students and will assist them in every way to be successful.
